01Who we are
Thozeelo is operated by ThozeeloIQ OPC, a One Person Company registered in India, based in Navi Mumbai, Maharashtra ("Thozeelo", "we", "us"). We are the Data Fiduciary for the personal data described in this policy.
Thozeelo is an independent aggregator of Central and State government and PSU job notices. We are not a government body and we do not recruit on behalf of any employer.
02What we collect
We collect only what we need to show you relevant openings and check your eligibility.
Reservation category and date of birth are used only to apply age relaxation and quota rules when we check eligibility. You can leave them blank; eligibility results will then be less precise.
03How we use your data
- To create and secure your account.
- To match you against the eligibility criteria in each notice and show a fit summary.
- To send alerts you have asked for, such as new openings or closing deadlines.
- To improve search, summaries and the accuracy of listings.
- To prevent fraud, abuse and misuse of the service.
- To comply with legal obligations and respond to lawful requests.
We do not sell your personal data, to AI companies or anyone else. We do not share your profile with employers or recruitment agencies.
04Consent and legal basis
We process your personal data on the basis of the consent you give when you create an account or fill in your profile, and for legitimate uses permitted under Section 7 of the DPDP Act, such as complying with law.
You can withdraw consent at any time from Profile → Privacy, or by writing to the Grievance Officer. Withdrawing consent stops further processing but does not affect processing already carried out.
06How long we keep it
We keep your account and profile while your account is active. If you delete your account, we erase your personal data within 30 days, except where we must keep it longer to meet a legal obligation. Backups are overwritten within 90 days.
Accounts inactive for 3 years are deleted after a notice by email.
07Your rights
As a Data Principal under the DPDP Act you can:
- Ask for a summary of the personal data we hold about you and how we use it.
- Correct, complete or update inaccurate data.
- Erase your data by deleting your account.
- Withdraw consent.
- Nominate another person to exercise your rights in the event of death or incapacity.
- Raise a grievance with us, and then with the Data Protection Board of India.
Most of these are available in Profile. For anything else, email the Grievance Officer. We respond within 30 days.
08Children
Thozeelo is intended for people aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly process data of children. If you believe a child has created an account, contact us and we will delete it.
09Security
Data is encrypted in transit and at rest. Access is limited to people who need it to run the service, and is logged. If a personal data breach occurs, we will notify affected users and the Data Protection Board as required by law.
10Grievance Officer

11Changes to this policy
We will post changes on this page and update the date above. If a change materially affects how we use your data, we will tell you by email or in the app before it takes effect.
